Summary: The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting the company’s logistics services. This role focuses on expanding market presence, developing strategic accounts, and contributing to long-term business growth. This position requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics services such as freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, contract logistics solutions
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, client visits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable logistics solutions
  • Prepare and present RFQ, Tender, sales proposals, quotations, and contracts
  • Conduct business negotiations and close deals in line with company targets and policies
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and forecasts reports
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and client presentations when required

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Foreign Trade, Commercial, Logistics or related field.
  • Min 03 Year Sales/ BD/ Account Management experience in Logistics/ Forwarding/ Shipping Industry
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes (air freight, sea freight, road freight, or customs clearance)
  • Proven track record of sales growth and deal closing in the logistics industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in English 4 skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong networking, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
