Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented KOL Outreach Specialist to spearhead our influencer marketing initiatives in Cambodia. The ideal candidate will be a Cambodian national with a deep understanding of the local social media landscape and a proven track record in building and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), community leaders, and digital influencers.
This role is foundational to our market expansion strategy, focusing on establishing a robust network of 300-1,000 influencers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire KOL lifecycle, from identification and outreach to negotiation, campaign execution, and performance analysis, with a strong emphasis on driving conversions and achieving measurable results.
KOL Network Development & Management:
The position requires proactively identifying, recruiting, and building a strong network of local Cambodian KOLs, social media influencers, and community administrators across key platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and Telegram. The candidate must establish and maintain a comprehensive KOL database, meticulously tracking key metrics such as contact information, follower count, platform specialization, audience demographics, engagement rates, and historical conversion performance. Additionally, the candidate will categorize and segment influencers based on verticals (e.g., beauty, lifestyle, tech), reach (micro, macro), and community type to ensure targeted campaign alignment.
Campaign Execution & Conversion Optimization:
The candidate will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative influencer marketing campaigns designed to drive brand awareness and sales. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of KOL collaboration, including outreach, negotiation of terms, contract management, and content briefing. The role also involves driving the adoption and promotion of affiliate links, distribution storefronts, and other conversion-focused initiatives to generate a tangible return on investment. The candidate will monitor and analyze campaign performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports and actionable insights for continuous optimization.
Relationship & Community Building:
The candidate will cultivate and nurture long-term, collaborative relationships with KOLs and community leaders, fostering a sense of partnership and brand loyalty. Acting as the primary point of contact for the influencer network, the candidate will ensure clear communication, timely support, and a positive partner experience. Must be a Cambodian local, possessing an innate understanding of local culture, consumer behavior, and social nuances
Demonstrable experience in KOL/influencer outreach, community management, or business development, particularly within e-commerce, social commerce, or agency environments.
Expert-level knowledge of Cambodia's dominant social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, and Telegram.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident and outgoing personality. Must be comfortable initiating contact, negotiating partnerships, and presenting to diverse audiences.
A strong drive to achieve and exceed targets. Must be willing to work under a KPI-driven performance assessment model; this is not a purely administrative role.
Proficiency in English is required for internal communication and reporting.
Experience with affiliate marketing, e-commerce platforms, or social listening tools is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies are highly valued.
