Industry: Accounting Consultancy

Location: Phnom Penh

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Manage full accounting cycles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Process payment vouchers and ensure accurate transaction recording in Xero or similar systems.
• Generate timely monthly management and tax reports for assigned clients.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation and records.
• Analyze monthly financial data and ensure compliance with Cambodian tax laws.
• Provide professional consultation on accounting, tax planning, and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities such as the General Department of Taxation.
• Support and mentor junior team members when needed.
• Report directly to the Accounting Manager and work collaboratively across departments.
• Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and Cambodian tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (Xero or QuickBooks preferred), Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills in both Khmer and English (Chinese is a plus)
• Professional attitude with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.
• Eagerness to grow within a dynamic and client-focused environment.
